The course provides the necessary knowledge about the responsibilities listed in column n.1 of the STCW Code A-VI/6-1 table, for seafarers without security duties on board ships subject to the International ship and port-facilities security code (ISPS Code).

Threat identification and recognition. Actions to be taken in case of threat

Board of examiners

The examination committee is chaired by a member of the teachers and the course Director.

Certificate issued

Each student who pass the examination will receive a training certificate compliant with the model reported in Annex B) of the 3/12/2013 Decree. Its details are annotated in the footnote of the certificate required in Decree n.136, July 7th 2011 , Annex VII, by the competent maritime authority.

Seafarers (of which at art. 1 of the Decree of December 3, 2013) are nevertheless required to comply with the requirements laid down in Article  4 of the Decree of December 3, 2013,(familiarization) as well as to participate in drills and exercises required by maritime security law.
